Deborah Lindsay, LPA provides a wide range of psychological testing and evaluation services for children and adolescents.  Testing is provided for clients ranging from 6 to 18 years old.  Psychological assessments can be especially helpful when evaluating children and teens with cognitive or behavioral issues that are impacting their emotional well being, academic performance, and quality of life.

An individual evaluation plan is prepared for each client.  This plan consists of an appropriate battery of tests to address the specific presenting issues for the client.  The results of these tests, along with the clinical interview, are then used for determining a diagnosis and recommendations for treatment.

At the conclusion of the evaluation, a psychologist issues a comprehensive psychological assessment that summarizes the test results, diagnosis, and treatment recommendations.  A results session is held with the parents or legal guardians to review the findings.  This report is a useful tool that the parents or legal guardians can choose to share with pediatricians, psychiatrists, therapists, or schools.

The types of psychological assessments offered include:

  • AD/HD Testing
  • Autism spectrum disorder testing
  • Learning Disability testing
  • Giftedness testing
  • IQ Testing
  • Dyslexia
  • Achievement Testing
  • Mental health diagnoses
  • Emotional/Conduct related issues
  • Mood/anxiety disorders
